For four years, Patrick McGee was the lead Apple reporter at the Financial Times. His new book, Apple in China, argues that the iconic company has not only created an “existential” risk for itself by coming to rely so heavily on China, but also contributed more than any other firm to China’s rise as the United States’ chief technological rival.
