He also worked as a lawyer at China Global Law Office from 1989 to 1992, and at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from 1997 to 1998.He is particularly experienced in the following areas: securities, corporate, M&A, restructuring, and banking. Wei Bai advised as PRC counsel to the issuer on New Century Shipbuilding's Singapore Stock Exchange IPO and acted in connection with Zhongwang Holdings's $1.38bn Hong Kong IPO.
