Ya-Wen Lei is a Professor of sociology at Harvard University, and author of THE GILDED CAGE: Technology, Development, and State Capitalism in China. Lei is from Taiwan and is affiliated with the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies and the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs.
