Before CNAS, Scanlon worked at the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division where she assisted on technology cases such as U.S. v. Google and served as speechwriter for Assistant Attorney General Jonathan Kanter.
She holds an MS in global affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing where she wrote her thesis on China’s National AI Development and Regulation Strategy and a BA from Northwestern University in international relations with a focus in international economics.
